Dr Veronica Tung

Veronica is a Geriatrician dedicated to providing comprehensive care to older individuals. She is a Staff Specialist Geriatrician and Network Director of Physician Training at St Vincent’s Hospital. She also holds appointments at St Vincent’s Private and St Luke’s Hospitals.

She received her Bachelor of Medicine from the University of Newcastle and Master of Medicine (Clinical Epidemiology) from the University of Sydney. She completed her specialist Geriatric training at St Vincent's, Royal Prince Alfred and Concord Hospitals.

She is committed to quality teaching and education. She supervises Basic Physician Trainees as the Network and Site Director of Physician Training at St Vincent’s Hospital and is a member of the RACP Advanced Training Committee for Geriatric Medicine. She also holds an Associate Lecturer position with the University of New South Wales.

Veronica excels in all aspects of Geriatric Medicine with interests in dementia syndromes, behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia, other neurodegenerative disorders, frailty, deprescribing, orthogeriatric and perioperative medicine.
