Biography

Harriet Iles is a Registered Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor, with experience across private practice, corporate, and hospital settings. She provides individual psychological support and facilitates team workshops that deliver evidence-based psychoeducation and practical skills to support mental health, wellbeing, and sustainable performance.

Harriet takes a warm, supportive, and collaborative approach, helping individuals understand their patterns, manage anxiety and stress, regulate emotions, reconnect with their values, and develop greater confidence and self-trust. Her work is grounded in a holistic and individualised approach, recognising the interplay between thoughts, emotions, behaviours, relationships, the body, and the broader contexts in which people live and work.

Harriet draws on a range of evidence-based and integrative approaches:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
  • Mindfulness-based approaches
  • Attachment-informed therapy
  • Somatic approaches informed by polyvagal theory to support healthy nervous system regulation

She also incorporates practical strategies from executive coaching and positive psychology to support personal and professional growth. Harriet will commence further training in Schema Therapy in 2027.

‍She particularly enjoys supporting individuals to manage anxiety and perfectionism, navigate periods of high demand and change, prevent burnout, and sustain high performance in ways that are both effective and psychologically healthy. Through both individual therapy and workplace consulting, Harriet is committed to helping people develop greater psychological flexibility, resilience, self-awareness, and sustainable ways of functioning—supporting them to perform at their best while maintaining their wellbeing, relationships, and sense of balance.
