Biography
Dr. Zachary Webb-Harvey is a dedicated Infectious Diseases specialist providing care to patients across St Vincent’s Public Hospital, St Vincent’s Private Hospital, and St Luke’s Care. He completed his physician’s training at Royal Prince Alfred, Westmead, and St Vincent’s Hospitals, developing a strong foundation in complex medical care. Zachary’s clinical practice is deeply informed by his extensive experience in critical care settings, as he has been concurrently working towards obtaining a dual qualification as an intensivist. This unique background provides him with exceptional expertise in managing severe infections in the critically ill and in immunocompromised hosts, including solid organ transplant recipients. He also has a strong interest in the multidisciplinary management of prosthetic joint infections and provides compassionate, long-term care for individuals living with HIV.
Outside of his medical practice, Zachary’s personal interests include participation in book clubs, attending alternative electronic music performances and contemporary art exhibitions. Zachary is a proud and active member of the LGBTQI community. This combination of advanced sub-specialty training and a broad range of personal interests contributes to his holistic approach to patient care.
